Exhibition pavilion

The temporary stage constructed on the water basin is an exhibition pavilion from RUWA Holzbau in Küblis. It was designed in 1994 by architect Thomas Schnyder, Architeam 4 in Basel, for the presentation of the wooden module system Living Box by RUWA. Subsequently, it was used by artist Peter Trachsel (1949–2013) for several experimental art projects, including (Gast)Gewerbe (2006), which dealt with the relationship between the work of artists and tradesmen. During the project, artists and practitioners from various trades collaborated over the course of a week.
